The Fantastic Fundraising Efforts of our own Deb Gates
Deb Gates has been a member of the JobGiraffe team since 1999 working as a recruiting and staffing consultant in our Vernon Hills office.
Back in 2004 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Since then she has stayed incredibly positive and has been involved in the MS Walk, and created her own fundraising efforts as well.
Dear Family and Friends,
Most of you know I was diagnosed with MS in early 2004. My motto since then, and still is, "if you didn't know, you wouldn't know." I have not let this diagnosis stop me from living my life. I truly believe much of my good fortune is in my belief that MS doesn't have me, I have it. I'm not letting it control my life, nor will I let it. Step by step and dollar by dollar, Walk MS is changing lives. That's why I registered for Walk MS and why I'm asking for your support. Please consider doing one of four things:
- Donate to my fundraising efforts
- Join me / my team and walk with us on Sunday, May 1, 2016
- Forward this email to others who might be interested in helping us raise money and create awareness
- Come support us at our 5th Annual Gates Fundraiser (August 13, 2006) - email me at my2boys3@att.net for more info!
