Bilingual German Executive Assistant
Up to $60,000 to start plus full company-sponsored benefits
Vernon Hills, IL

Your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Providing a wide variety of Administrative and Bilingual support to the Director's Office
- Handling daily correspondence, reports, emails and phone calls with Headquarters in Germany (in both English and German) on behalf of the Corporate Director in Vernon Hills
- Setting up and maintaining new employee travel profiles and managing all travel policy
- Administering all travel through Concur
- Overseeing travel bookings for business trips, field travel, training, conventions and meetings
- Reconciling corporate travel credit card at the end of each month.
- Calculating and disseminating quarterly compensation agreements, commissions, bonuses and other reconciliations for employees worldwide using Salesforce
- Serving as main contact for all insurance and legal matters
- Administering the company’s motor vehicle policy
- Administering the company's license and royalty agreements
- Verifying contract and patent expiration dates
- Maintaining the capital budget process
- Managing the company’s various reporting requirements to State authorities, including annual reports, abandoned property reports and others as required
- Overseeing the completion of all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
- Handling other duties as assigned by the Corporate Director

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least two years of Administrative Office experience

- The ability to speak, read and write in both English and German fluently

- Knowledge of or experience with business terminology in German

- Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment


- Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- The ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports in Salesforce, Concur or similar
- The ability to analyze and problem-solve
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Above-average verbal/written communication skills
- Superior organization skills
- A high degree of attention to detail
- Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality


+++ A Bachelor's Degree

+++ Any experience from within a manufacturing, distribution or product supply environment

+++ Previous experience from medical supply or medical equipment industry
