Job Description:

Manufacturing / Production / Supervisory
Manufacturing - Team Lead (Welding) (Piping)

As Team Lead in Manufacturing Production, you will:

- Join a manufacturer of piping products
- Receive industry-specific training
- Report to the Production Supervisor
- Lead and oversee team production activities
- Take a 'hands-on' approach and pitch in alongside your team
- Review work orders, work instructions, drawings and project timelines
- Expedite 'rush' orders as necessary
- Ensure that there are adequate parts, materials and supplies to meet customer demand
- Monitor production activities
- Perform quality checks and quality audits
- Troubleshoot issues and complaints as they arise
- Initiate corrective action as necessary
- Escalate complex issues as necessary
- Uphold quality, compliance and safety standards as well as SOPs
- Ensure your area remains neat and orderly
- Assist with training and onboarding processes for new team members
- Serve as a resource for new and existing team members
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- Manufacturing / Production experience
- Production Lead and/or Production Supervisory experience

With:

- Experience with either an ERP or WMS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Accurate Data Entry skills
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
