Maintenance / Repair / Installation
Facilities Maintenance Technician I (Bilingual Spanish)

Up to $27.00 per hour plus Medical Insurance, Health Savings Account and PTO

Support facilities maintenance and repair processes for a group of residential buildings in Chicago's Edgewater and Uptown Neighborhoods.

As Facilities Maintenance Technician I, you will:

- Assist with general maintenance, repair and remodeling construction projects
- Perform routine general maintenance on building systems, equipment and machines
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds, facilities and equipment
- Respond to service complaints, work orders and building code violations
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues
- Diagnose issues to identify root cause
- Make repairs and order spare parts as necessary
- Reassemble and test equipment, machines and equipment after repairs are complete
- Assist with common area maintenance and cleaning
- Serve as an on-call resource for emergency issues
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Building Maintenance / Facilities Maintenance experience
- Mechanical and Electrical skills
- Computer and Data Entry skills
