Manufacturing Engineer and Project Manager
Up to $80,000 to start plus full company-sponsored benefits and annual bonus based on profit

As a Manufacturing Engineer and Project Manager, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Performing and managing the engineering and implementation of New Product Design and Development Projects
- Reading and interpreting blueprints in order to design products that meet customer specifications
- Generating manufacturing, product and purchasing specifications
- Monitoring and evaluating the manufacturing production process and manufacturing inputs including: raw materials, incoming materials, rejected materials as well as the overall state, progress and efficiency of the production process
- Tracking project schedules and adhering to project timelines
- Serving as an interdepartmental liaison to make sure all departments are working together
- Leading, training and mentoring teams as required
- Participating in the analysis of manufacturing and field failures for mechanical design or manufacturing defects
- Performing product analysis for the continuous improvement of project quality, cost savings and process efficiency
- Traveling as required at the Company's expense - less than 10% - to meet with vendors as well as current and prospective clients
- Participating in weekly staff meetings
- Performing other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills, experience and characteristics:

- Any two or four year degree in Mechanical Engineering
- OR at least 2 years of on-the-job mechanical engineering experience (automotive industry preferred)
- Experience facilitating projects, leading teams and training team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience with equipment and process design, development and installation
- A demonstrated ability in data analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, PRO E/CREO
