Chicago - West Town Area - Near Grand and Western

As an Administrative Sales Assistant, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Providing support and assistance to the Sales Department
- Generating a high-volume of detailed sales quotes for customers
- Processing a high-volume of customer orders with accuracy
- Being responsible for order management throughout the sales cycle
- Promptly responding to customer inquiries and requests via phone and email
- Arranging, tracking and expediting customer shipments
- Troubleshooting and successfully resolving issues, problems and discrepancies with customer orders, pricing and shipments
- Processing customer returns and authorizing customer credits
- Sending-out company literature and brochures to customers
- Assisting with additional direct mailing campaigns
- Performing routine website maintenance
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel to run reports
- Assisting with special projects
- Performing additional administrative, clerical and sales support duties as necessary
- Facilitating efficient and effective operations in the Sales Department

An ideal candidate profile will include the following experience:

- At least three years of administrative, sales support or customer service support experience

In addition to the following qualifications:

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills
- Relationship-building skills and an outgoing personality
- Problem-solving and follow-up skills
- Organization and attention-to-detail in your work
- A proactive nature and the desire to lend a helping-hand wherever possible
- A focus on delivering excellent customer service
