As the Receptionist and an Entry-Level Customer Service Specialist, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Answering a high-volume of incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Directing calls to the appropriate personnel
- Taking messages and retrieving voicemails
- Warmly greeting and welcoming on-site visitors
- Answering day-to-day customer service questions
- Providing assistance to customers by checking product availability, providing order status updates and tracking shipments
- Distributing incoming purchase orders to the appropriate member of the Customer Service Team
- Collaborating with colleagues and management to resolve customer service issues
- Sending-out company literature and product sample requests
- Maintaining and updating electronic filing systems
- Processing customer returns
- Monitoring office supply levels, re-ordering as necessary
- Serving as a backup for Customer Service Team Members
- Providing support to your colleagues wherever possible
- Assisting with special projects
- Performing other administrative, clerical and customer service duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include the following experience:

- At least six months of office experience
- Experience corresponding with customers via phone

In addition to the following qualifications:

- Advanced communication and phone skills
- The ability to operate a multi-line phone system
- The willingness and ability to answer a high-volume of phone calls
- Relationship-building skills
- A friendly and personable nature
- Organizational and follow-up skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Above-average overall computer proficiency
- The desire to learn and grow as you gain experience with the company
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

+++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in any major

+++ Related experience from a company that manufactures and/or distributes products

+++ Experience using the Syteline Enterprise Resource Planning [ERP] system
