Customer Service Manager
Up to $65,000 to start plus full company-sponsored benefits
Chicago - Oak Park Area

As the Customer Service Manager, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Developing strategic initiatives for the Department
- Establishing short and long-term goals for the Team
- Analyzing and evaluating current Customer Service processes and procedures
- Creating and implementing improvements to Departmental processes and procedures
- Setting key performance indicators
- Working in tandem with the Customer Service Supervisor to coach and mentor team members
- Providing performance feedback to the Supervisor, Team and individual Team Members
- Providing 'hands-on' assistance with Team activities by taking customer service calls and processing customer orders
- Always leading by example
- Handling and resolving escalated and complex customer service issues
- Providing feedback to management when needed
- Managing special projects and performing other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include the following experience:

- At least five years of Customer Service and/or Call Center experience
- At least two years of Customer Service Management experience
- Experience with strategic planning and goal setting

In addition to the following desired qualifications:

- The ability to see the 'big picture' in all situations
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management [CRM] and/or Enterprise Resource Planning [ERP] system
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Relationship-building skills
- Organizational and follow-up skills
