Job Description:

Manufacturing / Production / Operations
Manufacturing - Assistant Production Supervisor (Overnight Shift) (Metals)

Up to $65,000 to start plus full benefits

As Assistant Production Supervisor, you will:

- Join a manufacturer of metals for the Automotive Industry
- Oversee production activities on the third shift
- Provide leadership, supervision, guidance and direction to Production Staff
- Monitor production schedules
- Administer production control activities
- Uphold safety, compliance and quality standards
- Perform routine and spot audits on production activities
- Serve as an ongoing resource for Production Staff
- Troubleshoot issues and complaints as they arise
- Administer corrective action and disciplinary action as necessary
- Write maintenance work orders as necessary
- Run team meetings
- Train and onboard new team members
- Run routine and special reports
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- Production Supervision and/or Production Supervisor experience
- Lean Manufacturing experience (5S)
- Experience tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Computer and Data Entry skills
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
