Job Description:

Warehouse / Distribution / Logistics Coordinator
Dispatcher and Logistics Coordinator

Up to $24.00 per hour to start plus excellent company-sponsored benefits

As Dispatcher and Logistics Coordinator, you will:

- Receive complete training
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Review daily delivery schedules
- Utilize routing software
- Identify the most cost efficient routes
- Communicate with customers, vendors and internal teams
- Address questions, inquiries and requests
- Learn to review and 'match' invoices to shipments and receipts
- Make updates to list and spreadsheets
- Administer additional small-parcel shipments via UPS through online shipping channels
- Perform general warehouse duties
- Pick and pack items for shipment
- Label and stage outgoing shipments
- Receive and check incoming shipments
- Load and unload trucks
- Administer shipping documentation
- Provide additional cross-functional warehouse support as requested
- Troubleshoot issues and complaints as they arise
- Escalate complex issues as necessary
- Ensure the warehouse remains neat and orderly
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- Warehouse experience
- Logistics experience
- Dispatching experience
- Customer Service and Administrative skills

With:

- Experience with ANY Type of Routing Software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Accurate Data Entry skills
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pluses:

+++ Geographic knowledge of the Chicago Metropolitan Area
+++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
+++ Related experience with electric, lighting or energy products / solutions
