As a Marketing Support Specialist, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Reporting directly to the Director of Development
- Supporting all fundraising efforts, marketing projects and the grant writing process
- Planning, coordinating and managing fundraising events
- Recording and acknowledging donations
- Maintaining and updating information in the donor database
- Coordinating donor recognition, legacy and matching gift programs
- Researching major gift prospects
- Assisting with developing fundraising goals and strategies
- Creating, implementing and overseeing marketing and other community awareness campaigns
- Creating regular social media and blog posts across various platforms
- Making content updates to the website
- Assisting in the grant writing research, preparation and the submission process
- Generating routine and special reports
- Performing other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- Any amount of Fundraising, Development and/or Grant Writing experience

- PLUS any amount of Marketing and/or Event Planning experience

- AND familiarity with Jewish customs and traditions, the Jewish life cycle and the Jewish calendar


- A Bachelor's Degree in any major
- Superior communication skills
- Organizational and follow-up skills
- Time management skills
- Research skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
- Accurate data entry skills


+++ Experience from within ANY Jewish not-for-profit organization

+++ Proficiency with the Salesforce CRM software
