Warehouse Lead / Traveling Trainer

Up to $22.00 per hour to start plus full company-sponsored benefits

As the Warehouse Lead and Traveling Trainer, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Learning the processes, procedures and protocols of the warehouse
- Receiving all incoming materials
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of all received orders
- Performing quality inspections on received materials
- Transferring incoming materials to their designated warehouse location
- Communicating with the Sales Team
- Providing routine status updates on all open orders
- Preparing outgoing orders for shipment
- Learning to use a crane to lift and bundle materials
- Learning to use a heavy-duty saw to cut materials
- Using a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Ensuring the warehouse remains neat and orderly
- Attending and contributing during 'Warehouse Committee' meetings

Once fully trained, your job duties will also include:

- Traveling 1 to 2 times per month (at company expense)
- Visiting other company-owned warehouse locations (a total of 15 throughout the 48 contiguous United States)
- Reviewing Warehouse operations
- Checking material preparation standards
- Mentoring and/or training other Warehouse Associates
- Preparing field reports
- Driving continuous improvement wherever possible

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least 2 years of Warehouse experience

- Forklift experience

- Shipping and receiving experience

- Computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills

- The willingness and ability to travel domestically [all travel paid at company expense]

- Leadership skills and the ability to teach, train and mentor others


+++ Prior Team Lead, Supervisory and/or Management experience

+++ Prior training experience

+++ Experience using production equipment

+++ Crane operation experience
