CAD Project Coordinator
Up to $25.00 per hour to start
Western Suburbs - Elk Grove Village, IL

As a CAD Project Coordinator, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Evaluating the scope of each customer's project
- Reading and interpreting blueprints in order to better assess project pricing requirements
- Collaborating with the Engineering Team on project specifics
- Learning to calculate material costs, labor costs and anticipated production times
- Generating detailed, accurate price quotes
- Estimating project timelines
- Writing up purchase orders for all required materials
- Noting quality control and ISO standards
- Creating CAD drawings to support the project development process
- Coordinating project development with the Shop and Production Teams
- Learning to prepare prototypes on the shop floor
- Following up as necessary with customers throughout the sales and production process
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise
- Updating customer account information in the CRM database
- Assisting with special projects and performing additional duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- CAD proficiency

- The ability to read and interpret blueprints / engineering drawings

- Advanced mechanical aptitude

- Above average computational math skills

- Experience using any type of Customer Relationship Management [CRM] software

- Teamwork and collaboration skills


+++ A Bachelor's Degree, especially in a relevant field

+++ Any relevant / related certification[s]

+++ Knowledge of welded or sewn industrial fabrics

+++ Experience with radio frequency welding

+++ A knowledge of ISO standards
