Customer Service Manager
Up to $60,000 to start plus full company-sponsored benefits
West Side of Chicago - Oak Park Area

As Customer Service Manager, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing all Customer Service Department activities
- Managing Team Members
- Providing leadership, direction and guidance to Team Members
- Ensuring all Department activities are performed in accordance with established protocol and quality standards
- Setting correct examples by performing routine Department functions regularly
- Initiating new customer accounts
- Handling escalated customer service issues as needed
- Administering the Department schedule
- Leading Team meetings
- Offering ongoing coaching, mentorship and training to Team Members
- Conducting performance reviews
- Addressing and resolving personnel issues
- Implementing corrective action as necessary
- Consistently liaising with the Sales Team
- Conducting Customer Service data analysis to share with Sales
- Providing feedback to Sales and Management
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts
- Performing other duties as necessary

*** Our client is currently located on the Far West Side of Chicago, near Oak Park, IL. During the Second Quarter of 2020, the company will be relocating to Glendale Heights, IL. ***

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least 3 years of similar / related / relevant experience
- Supervisory, Management and/or Team Lead experience from within a consumer products environment


- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication skills
- Leadership and collaboration skills
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strategic planning and analysis skills
- Prioritization and time-management skills


- Proficiency with AS400 +++
- A Bachelor's Degree +++
