Leasing Manager / Property Manager
Up to $47,000 base salary to start plus benefits and commissions based on new rentals and renewals
Earn up to $60,000 your 1st year

As Leasing and Property Manager, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Surveying local rental rates and occupancy levels and updating your rental activities accordingly
- Maintaining a high occupancy rate
- Advertising and filling vacancies
- Showing units
- Negotiating lease terms
- Coordinating move-ins and move-outs
- Ensuring the timely collection of rents
- Addressing and resolving tenant complaints
- Enforcing lease terms, building rules and regulations
- Inspecting vacant units, following-up on repair requests and planning renovations
- Monitoring building upkeep activities
- Supervising repairs, maintenance and other contracted services
- Coding bills and approving purchases
- Calculating overhead costs and realizing profit goals
- Generating various reports for management
- Being involved in professional organizations and maintaining personal networks in order to leverage the power of your contacts
- Participating in educational opportunities
- Performing other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least two years of Property Management or similar / related experience
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern the housing industry, including Fair Housing guidelines on both the Federal and State levels
- Strong knowledge of industry best practice


- The willingness and availability to work weekends when needed, especially during the busy season [April through September]


- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
- Advanced communication skills
- Relationship management skills
- An upbeat and outgoing personality
- Presentation skills
- Problem solving skills
- A valid Driver's license


- Proficiency with Yardi Software +++
- A Bachelor's Degree +++
- Any certifications, training or continuing education courses in Property Management +++
