As a Construction Superintendent, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Managing construction projects throughout the Midwest Region (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio)
- Traveling to job sites for the duration of the construction project
- Supervising construction projects from pre-planning to completion
- Collecting information to determine project scopes, budgets and timelines
- Determining labor requirements for each project
- Creating and managing construction schedules
- Coordinating the delivery of all required materials, supplies and subcontractor services
- Performing routine inspections of work in progress
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Preparing routine reports and providing periodic project status updates
- Conducting team meetings involving all project stakeholders
- Managing punch lists and project closeout documentation
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Always delivering high-quality work product on-time and on-budget

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least 3 years of Commercial Construction Management or similar/related experience


- The willingness and ability to travel to project job sites as required


- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Effective communication skills
- The ability to lead, mentor and guide others
- Strategic planning and decision making skills
- Problem solving skills
- Prioritization and organizational skills
- Attention to detail in your work
- The ability to consistently meet deadlines


- A Bachelor's Degree, especially in Construction Management or similar +++
- Experience working for a "green builder" +++
