Machine Operator (Packaging Industry) (2nd Shift)

Up to $27.00 per hour plus full benefits
Second Shift: 2P to 10:30P (M-F)

As Machine Operator, you will:

- Receive industry-specific and machine-specific training
- Learn to setup and operate flexible packaging converting equipment
- Operate pouch making machines, slitters, rewinders and laminators
- Perform quality checks on completed work product
- Identify and quarantine defective, non-conforming and poor quality work product
- Initiate corrective action(s) as appropriate
- Escalate complex issues as necessary
- Learn to perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery
- Uphold safety, compliance and quality standards
- Ensure your area remains neat and orderly
- Provide additional cross-functional support on the production floor and in the warehouse as requested

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least 1 year of Machine Operation / Machine Operator experience
- Advanced mechanical skills

Pluses:

+++ Related experience from the flexible packaging industry
+++ Experience with ANY of the following: pouch making machines, slitters, rewinders and/or laminators
