Industrial Maintenance Technician

Up to $43.00 per hour to start plus full company-sponsored benefits
Monday through Friday - 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Join a specialist in flexible packaging production, supporting packaging production operations.

As Industrial Maintenance Technician, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Supporting manufacturing production operations
- Conducting maintenance, repair and installation processes
- Maximizing efficiency and reducing downtime
- Administering preventative maintenance schedules
- Maintaining/repairing plant equipment such as slitters, extruders, flexographic presses, bag machine and laminators
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
- Breaking down machines to make repairs
- Conducting testing and diagnostics
- Using PLCs for routine troubleshooting
- Identifying root cause and making repairs
- Setting up and recalibrating machines once repair work is complete
- Upholding safety and quality standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts
- Seeking out cost savings wherever possible
- Handling special projects
- Performing other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least 3 years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience

With:

- Advanced electrical and mechanical skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motor drives, controls and PLC
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts and schematics
- The ability to follow instruction
- A focus on safety and quality

Pluses:
