Manufacturing - Metallurgic Inspection Manager (Measurement & Load Machines)

Up to $120,000 plus full company-sponsored benefits

JobGiraffe's client is a manufacturer of products for the aerospace and defense industry.

As Metallurgic Inspection Manager, you will:

- Oversee inspection operations
- Manage a team of Inspectors
- Implement measurement and load machine equipment
- Provide leadership, guidance and direction to Inspection Team Members
- Allocate labor according to business needs
- Optimize lean methodologies/practices, reducing waste
- Design, implement and establish best practice for inline measurement systems that minimize human error
- Additionally, manage QC processes for wire inspections, design data, calibration, equipment gage repeatability and reproducibility, RMAs and vendor wire returns
- Develop statistical process controls (SPC Plans)
- Compile, prepare and analyze data
- Utilize data-driven analysis to identify areas of improvement
- Uphold safety, compliance and quality standards
- Onboard and train new Inspection Team Members
- Serve as an ongoing resource for new and existing employees
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise
-Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- Experience implementing and managing Measurement and Load Machine Equipment
- A Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar

With:

- Greenbelt Certification
- SPC Implementation experience
- Experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, and Industrial Sectors
