Manufacturing / Production / Machine Operation
Machine Operator

$24.50 per hour to start plus excellent company-sponsored benefits

Second Shift: 2:00PM to 10:30PM (M-F)

JobGiaffe's client is a specialist in plastics recycling and reuse.

As Machine Operator you will:

- Setup, adjust and operate pulverizing/grinding/crushing machinery (Mill Machines / Milling Machines)
- Follow written work instructions for each job
- Pulverize, grind and crush materials
- Monitor machines during each production run
- Learn to troubleshoot machine issues as they arise
- Conduct routine inspections and quality control testing
- Assemble, pack and label boxes
- Complete all required paperwork
- Assist with inventory control functions
- Use a Crown Sit-Down Forklift to conduct material transfers
- Uphold quality, compliance and safety standards
- Maintain a neat and organized workspace
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least 1 year of Machine Operator / Machine Operation experience
- Sit-Down Forklift Operation experience

With:

- Computer and Data Entry skills
- The ability to lift 55lbs regularly

Pluses:

+++ Mill Machine / Milling Machine Operation
+++ Pulverizing, Grinding or Crushing Machine Operation experience
+++ Crown Forklift experience
+++ Experience in an ISO environment
