Up to $28.00 per hour plus full company-sponsored benefits

As Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will:

- Join a manufacturer of products for the defense industry
- Receive complete training
- Review customer billing information
Enter, process and distribute customer billings
- Post/apply cash receipts to customer accounts
- Administer check, wire and ACH payments
- Make updates to lists and spreadsheets
- Monitor the status and agings of outstanding billings
- Identify and reach out to customers with past-due and/or delinquent payments
- Help customers bring their accounts current
- Provide supporting documentation upon request
- Apply credit holds as necessary
- Evaluate the credit-worthiness of new customers
- Establish new customer lines of credit
- Assist with month end close and year end close processes
- Identify, research and resolve errors, omissions and discrepancies as they arise
- Escalate complex issues as necessary
Maintain manual and electronic file systems
- Serve as a resource for internal teams and customers on matters regarding A/R
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Cash Application / Cash Applications experience

With:

- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pluses:

+++ AS400 proficiency
+++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree

This is a contract assignment anticipated to last at 3 months (approximately 13 weeks) with the STRONG POSSIBILITY of converting to a direct-hire job thereafter.
