Remodeling Estimator (Residential Homes)

Up to $110,000 to start plus full benefits

JobGiraffe's client is a residential design/build firm specializing in renovations and remodeling for residential homes.

As Remodeling estimator you will:

- Obtain request for proposals
- Contribute to proposal writing and bidding process
- Estimate costs for building and remodeling projects
- Review construction blueprints and drawings
- Estimate material, labor and equipment costs for each project
- Administer project documentation, including material release schedules and project schedules
- Coordinate with internal teams and third party vendors
- Perform supplier/vendor management functions
- Facilitate purchasing processes
- Identify material suppliers with the best terms and rates for each purchase
- Track material deliveries to jobsites
- Administer product returns as necessary
- Perform additional project tracking functions
- Troubleshoot issues and complaints as they arise
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- Residential Home Remodeling Estimating experience
- Material and Labor Take Off experience
- Experience estimating costs for Foundations, Concrete, Carpenter Framing, Order Windows/Doors/Millwork, Siding Material Take Offs, Masonry, Roofing, Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC, Insulation, Drywall, Trim Carpentry, Tile Installation and Hardwood Flooring

Pluses:

+++ Experience with computer-based estimating systems (Excel, Sage, Buypout, Timberline)

Near North Suburbs of Chicago - Lincolnwood, IL
