Job Description:

Operations / Distribution / Dispatching
Dispatcher (2nd Shift)

Up to $24.00 per hour to start plus excellent company-sponsored benefits

Second Shift: 3PM to 11PM (M-F)

As Dispatcher, you will:

- Receive complete training
- Dispatch and route delivery drivers
- Monitor delivery routes
- Monitor delivery schedules
- Schedule customer pickups
- Communicate with customers, vendors and internal company departments
- Provide periodic status updates to customers and internal teams
- Troubleshoot pickup and delivery issues
- Create, maintain and update spreadsheets
- Enter and process information in the database
- Uphold company policies and procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Provide additional assistance and support as requested

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least one year of Dispatch, Routing, Transportation or similar/related experience
- Proficiency with routing software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Accurate data entry skills

Pluses:

+++ Geographic knowledge of the Chicago Metropolitan Area
+++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
+++ Related experience with electric, lighting or energy products / solutions
