Office / Customer Service / Data Entry
Customer Service and Order Entry Specialist (w/ ERP) (w/ EDI)

Up to $23.00 per hour to start plus great company-sponsored benefits after 90 days

JobGiraffe's client is a provider of specialty industrial components and parts for the automotive industry.

As Customer Service and Order Entry Specialist you will:

- Join the Customer Service Team
- Take and process orders via phone, fax and email
- Learn to manage orders for key accounts using the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) system
- Provide product assistance and order processing support
- Answer questions and address inquiries
- Use the EDI system to manage orders and run reports
- Create sales orders and quotes
- Learn to conduct parts lookups
- Learn to perform basic contract administration functions
- Maintain customer account information in the database
- Enter, process and distribute invoices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues and complaints as they arise
- Escalate complex issues as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least 1 year of Customer Service, Sales Support, Account Management, Call Center or similar
- Order Entry experience
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Pluses:

+++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
+++ Related experience with Industrial Products
