Associate Attorney (Commercial Litigation)
Up to $110,000 to start plus full benefits
JobGiraffe's client is an established personal injury law firm.
As Associate in Commercial Litigation, you will:
- Join a team consisting of 10 Attorneys
- Support clients with contract disputes, shareholder disagreements and other commercial matters
- Analyze and investigate legal matters
- Assist in all phases of litigation processes
- Develop arguments
- Conduct legal research, including researching applicable case law, statutes, regulations, and documents impacting the firm’s clients
- Prepare discovery (admissions, disclosures, interrogatories, depositions, orders, etc.)
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Attend and manage hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings
- Maintain/update manual and electronic case file systems and pertinent legal documents
- Provide guidance to clients throughout legal processes
- Keep Partners informed throughout each stage of the discovery process

An ideal candidate profile will include:
- Commercial Litigation
- A Juris Doctorate in Law (JD)
