IT / IT Technician / Network Cable Installation
IT Technician (Managed IT Services) (Network Cabling)

Up to $80,000 to start plus full benefits

JobGiraffe's client is an established provider of managed IT services.

As IT Technician, you will:

- Receive Level 2 support tickets
- Provide a combination of 'remote' and on-site support for the firm's clients
- Troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues
- Provide advanced support on desktops, servers, network devices and cloud solutions
- Monitor client's systems, networks and system configurations
- Identify issues and vulnerabilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, updates and patches to maintain and optimize the performance and security of client's IT environments
- Document client interactions and troubleshooting steps
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- IT Technician / Technical Support experience
- Related experience from a provider of managed IT Services

With:

- Windows OS and Mac OS experience
- Network troubleshooting experience
- Virtualization technology experience
- Cybersecurity experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs

Pluses:

+++ CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
+++ Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
