Purchasing and Inventory Analyst
Up to $55,000 to start plus full company-sponsored benefits
Southwest Suburbs - Naperville Area

As a Purchasing and Inventory Analyst, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Learning about the suite of products that are offered by the Company
- Analyzing current inventory levels
- Identifying potential shortages and/or excesses of assets
- Determining the appropriate amount of replenishment items necessary
- Examining historical inventory data
- Forecasting ordering activity based-on demand patterns
- Making recommendations for stock-level changes
- Ensuring that products being ordered meet customer and industry standards for quality and conformity
- Generating routine and ad hoc reports
- Recommending changes to improve overall supply chain efficiency
- Assisting with additional duties and special projects in the Department as needed

An ideal candidate profile will include the following experience:

- At least five years of purchasing, buyer, inventory management and/or inventory analyst experience from any industry


- At least three years of purchasing or inventory experience from the industrial fastener industry

In addition to the following qualifications:

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel skills
- Above-average overall computer proficiency
- Advanced mathematical aptitude
- Comfort working with numbers and spreadsheets
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and follow-up skills
- Accuracy and attention-to-detail in your work
- The ability to consistently meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
