As an Account Executive within IT Consulting, your job duties and responsibilities will include:
- Learning the firm's unique suite of IT Consulting products, services and solutions
- Utilizing a consultative sales approach to engage CIO's, IT Directors and Technology Management Teams
- Identifying, qualifying and penetrating new accounts
- Developing a solid network of referrals and industry contacts
- Introducing customers to the Firm's value propositions and key differentials
- Performing in-depth customer needs assessments
- Learning about each of your customer's unique business needs
- Providing technology roadmaps for each of your accounts
- Generating sales proposals, scope of work agreements and project implementation timelines
- Negotiating and closing sales
- Spearheading the onboarding and implementation process for new customers
- Collaborating with internal departments on client deliverables
- Serving as an ongoing resource for your customers
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
- Performing other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- At least three years of successful Sales, Business Development and/or Account Management experience at an IT Consulting Firm or similar/related
- An existing book of business and/or qualified industry contacts
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Advanced technological aptitude
- Sales and consulting experience with mid-market to enterprise accounts
- The ability to sell big-ticket, high-margin solutions
