Customer Support / Accounts Receivable / Collections
A/R and Collections Customer Support Specialist

$22.00 per hour plus great benefits and (salary review after 90-days)

As A/R and Collections Customer Support Specialist, you will:

- Receive complete training
- Join the Accounts Receivable Department
- Learn to use online customer portals
- Obtain data from customer portals
- Export data to Microsoft Excel
- Compare customer data to internal delivery reports
- Determine whether debits or credits should be applied to customer accounts
- Apply payments to customer accounts
- Reconcile accounts and deductions
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve errors, omissions and discrepancies
- Monitor customer account status' and A/R account agings
- Provide friendly reminders to customers with past-due and/or delinquent accounts
- Notify the Manager of 'problem' accounts
- Turn over 'problem' accounts to a third party-collections agency
- Maintain manual and electronic accounting files
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- At least 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- At least 2 years of Collections experience
- Fast and accurate Data Entry skills
- Customer Service and Administrative skills

Pluses:

+++ Fluency in Spanish [read, write, speak]

This is a contact assignment with a STRONG POSSIBILITY of converting to a full time, direct-hire job in approximately 3 months (13 Weeks).
