Manufacturing - Quality Control Inspector (w/ ISO90001:2015) (w/ PPAP)
Up to $65,000 to start plus full benefits
JobGiraffe's client is a distributor of electric and electro-mechanical components and assemblies
As Quality Control Inspector, you will:
- Receive industry-specific training
- Support quality control and quality assurance processes in an ISO:9001 environment
- Uphold quality, safety and compliance standards
- Monitor activities on the assembly line
- Review blueprints and product specifications
- Verify product quality against established product specifications
- Perform tests and take measurements
- Compile, prepare and enter statistical data to ensure product conformance
- Identify and quarantine poor quality and defective products
- Investigate root cause and initiate corrective action(s) as necessary
- Administer quality documentation
- Run routine, special and ad hoc reports
- Conduct routine, special and ad hoc analysis
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement processes
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- Quality Inspector / Quality Inspection experience
- ISO9001:2015 experience
- PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) experience
- Experience with precision measurement and quality control instrumentation
Pluses:
