Human Resources Manager
Up to $105,000 to start plus full company-sponsored benefits and generous bonus potential
Lincolnshire, IL

As Human Resources Manager, you will be managing the recruitment process, apprenticeship programming, training and development initiatives, and all safety and compliance control functions for the organization.

Your job duties and responsibilities will include:

- Providing direct supervision to the HR Team
- Ensuring all local Human Resource practices are consistent with Corporate HR Policy and Procedure
- Spearheading the recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes
- Facilitating employee training and development programs
- Coordinating the implementation of employee benefits programs
- Providing advice and guidance to Supervisors and Managers on employee relations issues
- Handling performance reviews, promotions, employee awards and recognition programs
- Administering disciplinary action and providing guidance to Department Managers on termination decisions
- Overseeing the administration of the Apprenticeship Program, including handling related career fairs, school visits and recruitment and training initiatives
- Managing the visa application process for the transfer of foreign nationals, expatriates and intra-company transfers
- Ensuring all required reporting is in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Maintaining all safety programming
- Monitoring all on-the-job injuries and worker's compensation claims
- Managing special projects as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include the following experience:

- At least four years of Human Resource Generalist experience
- A Bachelor's Degree [Any Major]
- Prior supervisory or management experience

- Knowledge of local, state and federal employment rules and regulations
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
